Criminal Justice Minor
To pursue a minor in criminal justice, you must be in your sophomore year and have written permission from the division chair for your program and/or the division chair for the minor program. In order to achieve the minor in criminal justice a grade of C or better in must be achieved in the following courses:
CJ 101. Introduction to Criminal Justice
CJ 204. Crime and Society
One of the following:
- CJ 102. Juvenile Delinquency
- CJ 103. Introduction to Security
- CJ 200. Introduction to Corrections
- CJ 202. Introduction to Law and Justice
- CJ 205. Drugs, Crime and the Criminal Justice System
- HS/RH 203. Introduction to Counseling
- RH/HS 204. Basic Interviewing Skills (formerly RH 205)
Three upper-divisional courses from the following areas:
- Corrections
- Criminology
- Family Violence, Investigations
- Juvenile Justice
- Law
- Police Management
- Security
