All students, faculty, staff and guests are asked to report any unusual or suspicious incidents to Hilbert Campus Safety or the Town of Hamburg Police Department, regardless of how insignificant the crime may seem. Campus safety or police officers will respond at any time day or night.

It's important to remember as many details as possible when reporting a crime, such as:
- Hair color
- Eye color
- Facial features
- Height
- Any distinguishing physical features
- Clothing
- Time
- License plate number
- Car make and model

In case of an emergency, call:
911 or 9-911 if calling from a campus phone
Hilbert also has emergency phones, with direct access to campus safety. Simply pick up a phone and it will automatically dial a campus safety officer. Emergency phones are at these locations:

- Bogel Hall first floor across from the student lounge

- Campus Center lower level (near ATM)
