ATTENTION: ALL RESIDENT STUDENTS
SPRING 2020 MOVE OUT PROCEDURES
On behalf of Hilbert College, we send you well wishes as you adapt to new learning opportunities.
Over the weekend, Residence Life received an overwhelming number of messages from resident students expressing concerns with obtaining their personal belongings. Residence Life has worked with the Office of the President and Office of Student Life to have specific times for students to pick up their personal belongings. Students belongings are and have been secure and will continue to do so while the college is closed.
The schedule below allows open move out times for our residential communities. The scheduled times are the only times you can use the blue carts and residence life dollies, which will make your move quick and easy. We encourage you to come prior to your time to pack your belongings and clean your spaces. All students who come during these times can return their keys to Residence Life and be officially checked out of housing. Students who are unable to get belongings can still come when the travel ban is lifted to obtain belongings.
Residence Halls will be closed and not available to residents other than the scheduled times below. The reason for this is that the college wants to limit exposure to people and maintain best practice of limited populations and staying 6 ft away (social distance) from another individual as mandated by NYS Governor, Andrew Cuomo.
