Center for Career & Community Engagement

The first step in your career journey

The Center for Career & Community Engagement is here to provide you with the resources, knowledge, and strategies to help you achieve your career potential. Our services are available to current students and alumni —for life!

Our mission is to enhance learning and facilitate the lifelong pursuit of passion, skill development, and professional achievement for students and alumni. The Center promotes the involvement of students, alumni, and community partners in meaningful activities that provide the opportunity for critical reflection to deepen the academic experience through interactive presentations, service and volunteerism, and quality career coaching.

Our goals for the Center for Career & Community Engagement include:

  1. Students and alumni will have a greater understanding of self in regard to identifying their career goals and exploring their role in their community.
  2. Students and alumni will acquire information and competencies that enhance their academic success and awareness of their community, varied industries and occupations.
  3. Students and alumni will participate in professional and civic-engagement opportunities.
