Hire-A-Hawk Partnership Opportunities
Here are ways in which you can partner with Hilbert to benefit your organization, Hilbert students and alumni:
-
Post Jobs and Internships: The Office of Career Development posts full-time, part-time, summer or internship opportunities using Handshake. Simply navigate to joinhandshake.com and click Employers to create an account to connect with Hilbert College and over 2,000 colleges and universities. While we highly encourage organizations to post positions themselves for more immediate release to students/alumni, employers can also email job, internship, and volunteer opportunities to career@hilbert.edu and we will post it for you on Handshake.
-
Tabling and Interviewing: The Office of Career Development offers opportunities for employers to set up a recruitment table on campus in some of our heaviest trafficked areas. We can also arrange for a space on campus for employers to conduct interviews with our students and alumni. To reserve a date, please contact career@hilbert.edu.
-
Signature Events: Throughout the school year the Office of Career Development hosts and co-sponsors a variety of signature events such as the annual Involvement/Part-Time Jobs Fair each September and the annual Jobsapalooza event sponsored by the Western New York Associate of College Career Centers of which we are a member. You are encouraged to take part in one of these well-established programs and others for campus-wide publicity and broad exposure to students and recent graduates.
-
Host a Customized Workshop: Employers are welcome to participate in an existing workshop, or create their own. Resume do’s and don’ts, interviewing tips, and how to conduct an effective job search are just a few of the topics that we want our students to know about. Hearing directly from employers about what the “real world” is looking for in an employee, and best practices on how to conduct yourself as a professional, is invaluable to our students.
